Late March, Train Chartering operated a private charter train for Felsted School, between Chelmsford and London’s Liverpool Street Station - 'The Felsted Flyer'. The School was celebrating 450 years with a service in St. Paul's Cathedral. Organizers saw the benefits of rail travel and relied on Train Chartering to provide the train for 700 pupils and staff.

Group travel planning by Train Hire has, for instance, delivered low-cost rail tickets for the Girl Guides on routes which crossed several train-operating company boundaries. Train Hire is a part of Train Chartering.
